The phone will be left on answerphone if there is no one about to answer it. Please try to understand, we are very busy, and spend a lot of time not here.

Please bear in mind when reading the catalogue, that we can obtain many other films and items of film memorabilia, from Oriental and non Oriental films. If we listed everything we can get, the catalogue would be huge. Even though we specialise in Hong Kong action films, most of the companies we deal with do not. If you are looking for something in particular from any genre of film, then tell us what it is and we'll see what we can do. There is no obligation to buy, and we will first inform you of the price and see if you agree to it.

STATUS : ORDER

We have to order the film. It may take a while. We will advise you how long it will take as best we can.

STATUS : IN STOCK

We have it in stock, so it can be sent straight out.

If you send an order which combines items in stock and items we have to order, we will get the complete order ( or as much as we can ) up together before we send anything to you. If you want some sent now and some later, then add the extra £1 for another lot of postage.

For some time, we ran a system whereby you don't send any payment until we have the items you want in stock ready to go, then send payment. Unfortunately, there are too many customers who suddenly change their minds, and don't pay, leaving us with excess stock and bills we could quite happily do without. Due to this, unless we tell you otherwise, all orders will now have to be paid for in advance like you'd have to buying from anywhere else.

WHEN WE HAVE YOUR FILMS

When we have your films, we will open everything to :

  1. check there is actually a film in the box, as there have been instances ( allegedly ) where cellophane wrapped DVD’s have had no film in the box.
  2. Check that it is the correct film in the box.
  3. Check that the film works alright. This saves us and you time and money. If we sent you a duff film, you would be upset.

If you don’t like this and you want everything cellophane wrapped, go elsewhere.

PAYMENT.

All prices are in British pounds £. Payment can be taken by cash, cheque or postal order in British pounds £. If ordering outside of Britain, you can pay by international money order, or send cash in the post. Cash can also be accepted in US$. All monies should be made payable to James Marshall. If you have something you'd like to swap, then speak to us and we'll consider it.

We don't take credit cards as it costs too much to offer this facility. Sorry !

POSTAGE.

We will dispatch all orders as quickly as possible, but some items have to be specially ordered. Please be patient. Customs often give us grief, and it may take a while to sort it out.

Orders will be wrapped as securely as possible, but you can't hold us responsible for damage caused in the post. Take the matter up with the post office. All films will be checked before they are posted. One of our pet peeves is when a DVD comes loose in the box and gets scratched to pieces. We make sure everything is securely in place before postage.

Within mainland Britain, please add £1 postage on all orders ( unless stated otherwise ). If ordering from outside of England, please contact us first and we will check the postage for your part of the world. We will only charge you the actual cost of postage.

RETURNS

We will wrap things as well as possible, but we can't be held responsible for any damage caused in the post. Take the matter up with the post office. If a film is found to be faulty, then it will be replaced with the same title only. People often try to return films because they don’t like them, and make up some kind of excuse. We will not accept returns on tapes your video machine chewed up, on films you don’t like, or because you bought it for someone's birthday and they already had it. We will only accept returns if the film was damaged before we sent it to you or there is some defect in the manufacturing process e.g. the DVD doesn’t work right.
