WHY ARE THERE NO BACK BUTTONS ?
Back buttons would be awkward. We plan to have the whole site completely cross referenced ( eventually ) so that every time you see an actors name, you can click on the name and go to a page about this actor. If the name appears 30 times on the site, and you use back buttons, you need the same page 30 times with a different back button on it. Use the back button built into your internet navigator.
We have also put a link to the home page at the bottom of every page to make it easy to leap to a different section. Just go to the home page, and hit a link from there.
WHY CAN'T I ORDER ONLINE ?
We still don't trust the internet enough to take credit cards online, and at present, we can't accept credit cards anyway. We are not e-tailers - we are a mail order company which has an internet site to advertise our products. There is a difference. Credit cards cost a lot of money to accept, and it really isn't worth it at the present time.
WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A SEARCH ENGINE ?
We do plan to add a search engine eventually, but feel that the pages of information on films are more important at the moment, so are concentrating our efforts on completing this task. Though it does seem a never ending job.
I'VE SEEN IT ADVERTISED ON A FOREIGN INTERNET SITE AND IT IS A COUPLE OF POUNDS CHEAPER. WHY SHOULD I BUY IT FROM YOU ?
Our postage is a standard charge of £1 for every order be it one item or one thousand items ( within the U.K. mainland only ). Postage from abroad will cost a lot more than that. Also, customs may well add large charges to anything being sent from other countries. The price you see in our catalogue is the price you pay - no more, no less.
WOULDN'T IT BE CHEAPER FOR ME TO BUY IT DIRECT FROM THE COUNTRY IT IS PRODUCED IN ?
Not neccessarily. We buy a lot of items at trade prices. We also place large orders, so the postage to us per item is reduced. Also, the fact that we are a mail order company means that we have less over heads. A combination of these factors mean we can keep the prices down.
